The building sector needs a new wave of innovation to drive dramatic reductions in environmental impacts while sustaining economic growth and improving social outcomes.  SB08 is re-establishing links between researchers, industry and government to make this happen.

SB08 will present the leading-edge of an unprecedented change sweeping the industry towards sustainability:

  • Reports on green building markets across the globe
  • Intelligent and restorative buildings
  • New and transformative building materials, including their life cycle analysis
  • Integrated urban development
  • Behavioral change

With over 60 invited speakers and more than 500 peer-reviewed scientific papers, and participation from over 60 countries, SB08 will be the peak international gathering of  the building industry in 2008.
