The next RACI National Convention will be held from Sunday 4th to Thursday 8th July 2010 at the new Melbourne Convention Centre in conjunction with the 12th IUPAC International Congress on Pesticide Chemistry (ICPC).

As the demands for energy, food, materials, resources and technologies grow and environmental stresses become increasingly apparent, there is an urgent need for new approaches to provide a sustainable future. Chemists and chemical sciences will play a pivotal role in providing solutions to the challenges of a sustainable world.  The 13th RACI National Convention will provide a cross-divisional forum for chemists to present their latest work and discuss the directions that chemistry research, industry and education will take as we address these challenges.  I invite all chemists across Australia and colleagues overseas to join us at the new Melbourne Convention Centre in July 2010 for the RACI’s major meeting of the chemical sciences.
