The organisers of APAC2008 are currently developing a strategy to be greenhouse gas responsible.

Accommodating delegates at the congress venue reduces the environmental impact of travel during the event. Other initiatives such as no satchel inserts, reusable conference bags and group transfers will be included in the plan.

The organisers are working with the venue to improve on and add to the environment practices already adopted by Novotel Twin Waters Resort.

Delegates may choose to offset their travel carbon footprint through the schemes offered by individual airlines.
